Thinking of Planet Earth
With last week's Great Big Green Week in mind, I just want to reassure you that Paula Wilkinson Jewellery is committed to limiting any impact on the environment and the future of our beautiful planet.
All of my jewellery is made from the best quality recycled sterling silver, which I buy from the UK’s leading precious metal supplier in Birmingham jewellery quarter. The gemstones are all natural gemstones, they have not received any chemical colour enhancements. These are the most sustainable materials available, creating jewellery that will last a lifetime and beyond.
The packaging in which your Paula Wilkinson Jewellery is delivered is both recycled and recyclable. Even the small amount of Sellotape I use is vegetable-based and can go in the compost/food waste.
Recent Moonstone Makes
Rainbow Moonstone Silver Ring, Moonstone with Hammered Crescent Moon Earrings, Lunar Eclipse Pendant Necklace
Rainbow Moonstone Silver Ring - The beautiful rainbow moonstone in this ring is not quite round, and this adds an extra special little quirkiness to its unique charm. A one-off, set in silver on an oval chunky silver band. Ring measures size K.
Moonstone and Crescent Moon Earrings - These dangly celestial earrings have white moonstones, like balls of moonlight, perfectly captured in silver to illuminate the suspended hammered silver crescent moons.
Lunar Eclipse Pendant - A white moonstone eclipses the hammered copper moon, on a silver pendant darkened with patina to emphasise the coppery glow.
Birthstones for July are Ruby, Onyx and Carnelian
I have some very sweet little rubies on order, and new designs with these will be appearing soon, so keep your eyes on my social media pages and website for gift ideas for friends and family with birthdays in July.
Meanwhile, July's alternative birthstones are onyx - black onyx is one of my favourite stones, and has a wonderful gothic vibe - and carnelian which is the colour of a summer sunset, perfect for July.
Next Craft Fair
Saturday 22 July
Honeybourne Village Hall Weston Road, Honeybourne WR11 7RH
12:00pm – 4:00pm
Honeybourne is just down the road from Bidford on Avon. It's the place to be on 22 July for a fun day out, as there is a village fete and even a dog show going on as well as the craft fair. I hope the thunderstorms stay away, but at least I'll be in a dry place inside the lovely new village hall. Do come and say hello! It's an opportunity to see and handle the jewellery before buying, and have a chat with me about anything you'd like to know about me and my designs. I look forward to seeing you.
