Charms, Moonstones and Warwickshire Open Studios

Posted: April 2026

Hello,

I hope you are had a lovely Easter weekend, and your plans were unaffected by Storm Dave!

New Designs Hot Off The Workbench

A Special Birthday Necklace

My daughter reached a milestone birthday in March, and I wanted to mark the occasion with a special meaningful gift. I decided to make her a unique piece of jewellery, both with her birthstone, Aquamarine, and her star sign, Pisces.

I created two separate silver charms, one with the aquamarine stone setting, and one with a unique little fish design, and hung them side by side on a silver chain. A lot of love goes into every piece of jewellery that I make. This one had an extra dash of motherly love to boot.

Arches & Rainbow Moonstones Dangly Earrings

Stunning rainbow moonstones wrapped in silver, like balls of captured moonlight glowing iridescent white, with blue flashes that appear as they move. The curve of an arch represents an entranceway, a point in a journey, and the open ends symbolise endless possibilities. Bridging the past with the present and what’s beyond.

Faceted Black Moonstone Ring

A stunning large black moonstone wrapped in silver and set on a chunky hammered silver statement ring.

Faceted Haematite & Silver Bead Bracelet

Fabulous faceted haematite, a silvery-grey gemstone with a metalic lustre, interspersed with sterling silver making an incredibly versatile bracelet that will tone in with any colours that you are wearing.

Warwickshire Open Studios – Summer Art Weeks 2026

Coughton Collective

I mentioned previously that I’ve been invited to exhibit at a new WOS venue this year, and I am delighted to confirm this, and I can now give you more details. I will be part of a new Coughton Collective, a group of 20 artists exhibiting in the beautiful little church of St Peter, St Paul and St Elizabeth, which stands within the grounds of Coughton Court (between Alcester and Studley).

I’ll be there on two weekends:

20 - 21 June

3 - 5 July

St Laurence's Church Rowington

26-28 June

I’ll be back at the fabulous St Laurence’s, Rowington (near Warwick) for a third year running, with a smaller group of six artists.

These events are always very friendly and welcoming, with FREE ENTRY to all venues.

I look forward to meeting all our visitors at both my locations. If you have not visited WOS venues before, and would like more information here’s a link to the Warwickshire Open Studios website: https://www.warwickshireopenstudios.org/

And you can see my profile page here: https://www.warwickshireopenstudios.org/profile-2026/paula-wilkinson/

This year's free colour brochure is now available, and it lists every venue and every artist taking part, along with maps, opening days and times, and accessibility. You’ll find these everywhere around Warwickshire on the run up to Summer Art Weeks.

Banbury Museum Shop Update

My three-month feature in Banbury Museum & Gallery has now ended. It was wonderful having my work on display and for sale in this lovely gift shop. So many of my pieces have been sold and I look forward to spotting them being worn! It's always a little sad to remove my remaining stock from display, but it is time to make way for another artist or jeweller to have their turn in the space. I look forward to returning in a few months’ time. Dates tbc.

Thank You

As always, thank you for reading, and thank you for your continued support of my small jewellery business.

With very best wishes

Paula
