Garnet in Hammered Silver Circle Pendant Necklace
NPHCGM001
A deep red garnet, smooth and glowing like a drop of liquid fire, is cradled within a hand-forged silver circle. The hammered texture catches the light, adding a raw, organic feel to the flowing geometry. Suspended together from a single jump ring, the two elements move freely—separate yet connected, like celestial bodies in quiet orbit.
A piece for those drawn to bold simplicity, rich colour, and jewellery with a story woven into every curve and texture.

How this jewellery was made ↓
Handcrafted using traditional silversmithing techniques. The circle was formed from a length of sterling silver wire, shaped and the ends soldered together. The stone setting was created by fitting a strip of fine silver bezel around the stone which was then soldered to a sheet of sterling silver. The was then cut around, filed and sanded to create a cup for the stone to sit in. A jump ring was soldered to the stone setting. The pieces ware placed in a warm pickle solution to help clean them and remove any fire scale caused by the blowtorch. They were then cleaned and polished before hammering the circle to give its texture, and joining the pieces with a jump ring. Lastly the stone was placed in its setting and the silver pushed over around the edges to hold it in place and burnished, and the pendant is ready to hang on its chain.
