How this jewellery was made ↓
Handmade using traditional silversmithing methods. The hearts were drawn by hand and sawn from a sheet of sterling silver. These were filed and sanded to remove the rough edges, then soldered together and a jump ring was soldered to the top. The piece was then placed in a warm pickling bath to remove the fire scale caused by the heat from the blowtorch. After this the pendant was cleaned and polished to give it its lovely shine, and patina added to darken some areas and give lift to the design. Lastly the jump rings were attached for hanging the pendant on its chain.
