Donut Hammered Silver Circle Pendant Necklace on 16" Faux Suede Cord

Hand made using traditional methods. The donut was formed from 2mm thick sterling silver wire, shaped over a ring mandrel and the ends soldered together. The piece was placed in a warm pickling solution to remove the fire scale caused by the blow torch, followed by sanding to remove scratches and lots of cleaning before hammering to give the pendant its texture, and polishing to give the its lovely sheen. Finally the pendant was attached to its cord.
