Silver Bubbles Pendant Necklace (Medium)

Hand made using traditional methods. The little silver balls were created by melting small pieces of sterling silver. A circle of silver was created from sterling silver wire, textured by hammering and then soldered to a sheet of sterling silver along with the silver balls. The pendant was then cut out, filed and sanded and a jump ring soldered to the top. The piece was placed in a warm pickling solution to remove the fire scale caused by the blow torch, followed by lots of cleaning and polishing to give the pendant its lovely sheen. A patina was added to blacken the backplate to highlight the shiny raised parts of the pendant.
